Some users of the Opera web browsers report errors loading Google and Facebook. The latest trouble report came with  Opera version 11.51, build 1087 for 32-bit Windows 7. Symptoms include gibberish in the Opera main window.

Google, Facebook do not load in Opera

 

We noticed that in these situations, Opera Turbo is almost always on.

When Opera Turbo is on, Google and Facebook don't load.

We solved this frustrating problem by turning off Opera Turbo. To do this, click the Opera Turbo icon at the bottom of the window and uncheck the box.

Verify that  Opera Turbo is disabled.

Reload Google

Now, reload Google to verify that the you solved the problem.
